James heads up our Cyber team, with over 28 years working within IT and 9 years in cyber security James brings a wealth of experience to the team.

James has worked for critical infrastructure in the past which included DV clearance, a small part of his skillset is listed below.
 

• Drive continuous improvement in threat detection, incident response, and SOC processes.
• Oversee the identification, analysis, and response to security incidents and threats.
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical security issues.
• Evaluate, select, and maintain SOC tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and threat intelligence platforms.
• Coordinate with other IT and security teams, including threat intelligence, risk management, and compliance teams.
• Maintain documentation for audits and certifications.
• Stay informed of the latest threat trends, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
